President Henry Spaulding invites faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and community guests to share breakfast and join together in prayer for the university. Special guest JK Warrick, Pastor of Parkview Church of the Nazarene, will bring the morning’s devotion. Space for breakfast and the president’s address is limited. Reservations are required.

Alumni guest lecturers and presenters will be available in classrooms throughout campus as arranged by faculty members.

Students and alumni are invited to hear the stories of alumni who are working and serving around the world. Their experiences and perspectives are curated to provide insight to the curricular theme of the chapel semester.

Our Golden Grads from the classes of 1972 are celebrating 50 years post-graduation! They are invited to lunch after receiving their recognition at Homecoming Chapel. Reservations are required.

Pikeville vs. Penn State Allegheny

The panel will be comprised of 5 MVNU social work alumni who have a variety of knowledge and direction in the social work field including entering work right after graduation, graduate school, working in child welfare, addiction, and more. Learn more about their journey in the social work field and guidance they can give to students who desire to do the same.

All are invited to hear Christian business leaders who have successfully led organizations with ethics and excellence share with MVNU students. This year’s featured speaker is Rev. Dr. Ben Lee ’04, President of In His Steps Foundation. The symposium is made possible by a generous endowment from Len and Betty Boesger.

Join us for an evening with Jim Hendrickx, retired MVNU Art and Design faculty member. Jim will present a Gallery Talk about his artwork and studio practice since retiring. A reception will immediately follow.

The MVNU Office of Intercultural Engagement and Learning is pleased to honor Mr. Jim Singletary. Mr. Singletary faithfully served MVNU for almost two decades. His foundational intercultural life programming impacted the lives of countless students, faculty, and staff across the breadth of our university and beyond. We are pleased to honor such a worthy trailblazer for his committed service to our university community. Light refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. with a program to follow at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required.

This tournament is for alumni, students, faculty and staff! Prizes for the winning teams in each division! Single or double elimination depending on the number of teams. Catch a shuttle ride to downtown Mount Vernon to see the rest of the MVNU campus! Walking tours will be offered in the Nease Center (engineering), Buchwald Center (art) and Hunter Hall (nursing). Pass by the MVNU lofts, dog fountain and conclude at the new CH4 Soccer and Lacrosse stadium.
