Class of 1977

The Class of 1977 will meet on Saturday morning November 12th at 10:30 a.m. in Jetter Hall, Room 133 for the “45th Class Reunion Celebration.” At our Reunion we will be serving light refreshments and it will be free to attend!

Between now and the date of our “45th Class Reunion Celebration,” we will be in a fundraising drive to collect additional funding for the “Class of 1977 Endowed Scholarship” fund.

In order to make this more fun, Cindy Hedges Wike and Cindy Marshall Clark have made three quilts that will be given away in three separate drawings. Those who donate at least $10 increments to the “Class of 1977 Endowed Scholarship” fund are eligible to win. Anyone can participate – even those who are not members of the Class of 1977 – and even those who did not attend MVNC/U. You do not have to be present at the “45th Class Reunion Celebration” to be eligible to win. Note for clarity: There are only three quilts, therefore only three people will win a quilt.

Those who donate a minimum of $10, will receive a ticket for the drawing. If you donate $20, you will receive two tickets. If you donate $100, you will receive 10 tickets. Each of the three quilts have a separate set of tickets. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can receive depending upon the size of your donation. You may request a ticket for the quilt of your choice for the drawing. This will be explained in greater details when communicating with Ron Bolender. Note: 100% of ALL donations go into the Scholarship Fund.

Please contact Ron Bolender for how to donate prior to October 31, 2022. Send a text message to: 740-358-0153 (this is Ron’s business number, not his personal number). He will communicate regarding how to donate and how to receive tickets for Quilt #1, Quilt #2, and/or Quilt #3.

After October 31, 2022, additional donations will be collected at the MVNU November 2022 Homecoming in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Here are the three quilts to be given away in the three drawings during the “45th Class Reunion Celebration.” They will also be on display in Ariel Arena Friday night if you are attending the basketball games.
